This physician would like to see you in-person, whenever possible.
There is so much more to an effective psychiatric appointment than asking questions and listening carefully to the responses. And so many of those things cannot be be captured during a phone call or even during a zoom appointment.
I know it's challenging to coordinate in-person appointments. There are so many things that take more time than just what you scheduled. But, at the end of the day, if you need help why not make your time with the physician as effective as possible?
Of course, there are situations where remote appointments are necessary. I get that. The last year has taught us all an enormous amount about working around obstacles and coming up with unique solutions to unique problems.
But as long as as it's safe, I will have an office built around the needs of my patients and the door will be open.
